Sujata Ramnarayan, Ph.D., a former Gartner Group Senior Analyst and a former Assistant Professor of Marketing, currently provides Research, Advisory, Speaking, and Training services as a Marketing Strategy/Research Consultant through her company SMStrat.
In addition to managing her work as a consultant, Ms. Ramnarayan serves on the board of Career Closet, a non-profit serving under-privileged women as an executive board member, on the board of the Silicon Valley American Marketing Association as its V.P.of Digital Marketing, and as the Manager of the Product Marketing Roundtable series for NorcalBMA (Business Marketing Association).
Ms. Ramnarayan’s most recent articles have been published at MarketingProfs.com and the Marketing Management Magazine. These articles have led to her writing the just authored book on Social Media Strategy titled Marketing in a World of Digital Sharing, which has received favorable advance reviews.
Ms.Ramnarayan has a B.S. in Math from the University of Delhi, an M.B.A. from Kansas State University, and a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Oregon.
In her spare time, Ms.Ramnarayan likes running and hiking. She is a regular runner at the yearly San Francisco Half Marathon.
